The challenge which faces so many pastors and others of faith in their effort to expose youth, prisoners, and others who could benefit from moral guidance is how do they encourage them to read and study the Holy Bible? The methods often employed to compel prisoners, youth, and others who could benefit from spiritual instruction to do so are based on fear and guilt. Attempt’s to force religious instruction on them with threats of eternal damnation/no mercy, and brow-beating them about their sinful ways all too often produce resistance to, and rejection of, the very moral tenets they seek to share with them.
